Care
Training kit gets sweaty. A little care keeps the prints sharp and the hook-and-loop closures gripping.
Hand wraps
- Close the hook-and-loop end before washing so it does not catch other fabric.
- Machine wash at 30 °C in a laundry bag, with similar colours. No bleach, no fabric softener (it makes the wrap slippery).
- Hang to dry, unrolled. Roll them up only when they are fully dry, print facing in, starting from the hook-and-loop end so the thumb loop is ready on top.
- Dark wraps (black, red, blue) can release a little colour in the first washes.
Boxing gloves
- After every session, open the wrist strap fully and let the gloves air out. Do not leave them closed in a bag.
- Wipe the outside and the inside opening with a damp cloth; let them dry at room temperature, away from radiators and direct sun.
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry gloves.
- Wearing clean hand wraps keeps the lining fresher for longer.
Jump ropes
- Skip on a smooth, clean surface; rough concrete wears the cable faster.
- Wipe the handles after use. Hang the rope rather than leaving it knotted.
- Check that the cable and handle fittings are secure before each session.
Training towels
- Wash before first use. Machine wash at 40 °C with similar colours, tumble dry on low.
- No fabric softener: it reduces how well terry absorbs.
Gym shorts
- Machine wash at 30 °C, inside out, with similar colours.
- Hang to dry; do not tumble dry or iron the print.
